Halloween happened and now I’m sad. I’m sad because it’s over. Why can’t we have a week of Halloween? Are you kidding? How can it be that you’re willing to forgo something you loved as a kid just because you’re now a woman (or man) over 40? Here’s what I think: you think it makes you seem immature, right? Well, grow up. There is nothing immature about making believe. Isn’t that exactly what (more…)

My dad, Ang was actually more entertaining than the pontificating sportscasters who filled in the interminable dead time between the rare excitement of a hit with even deader time. You know, even writing about this is boring me. Which brings me to my point: why are we subjected to baseball (and every other possible sport) when we go out to eat? (more…)

Guess who cares what I think: Kellogg’s. Really. I’m not kidding. They actually asked me to try two of their high fiber cereals and report to you, my loyal readers, what I thought of them (see: one more benefit to being over 40!). And I thought: boy, are they brave! Have they ever read this blog?
Let me start by admitting (more…)

Don’t deny it; you know you do it. You may pretend you don’t, but let’s be honest; you schedule that “special time” with yourself. I don’t care what you call it and I don’t care how you do it. Maybe you don’t have a vibrator at the side of your bed. Maybe you just (more…)
