Ladies, we are in luck. Now that we’re beyond babedom, we can be assured we will never be fired for being too beautiful. Never thought you’d be happy not to be gorgeous, huh? But it’s true: now you can get fired just because you’re too damn cute.

I have often wondered why I’ve never made it into the executive levels of the companies I’ve worked for. But I know now; it’s how much I talk. Yes. I don’t talk enough. (more…)

Using a self tanner to avoid burning or skin cancer is okay with me; but going to a tanning salon is – IMHO- cheating. The same goes for Botox. If your face is going to sag and wrinkle, using Botox to erase the road map of your life is cheating. And it’s not just cheating on your looks; it’s affecting your ability to feel. (more…)

Remember the good old days when people actually talked about “Women’s Liberation”? Sure, we still hear about libbers, but for the most part, everyone – men in particular – thinks equal rights for women is an antiquated notion because women have all the advantages anyway. (I can just see the guys nodding and the women rolling their eyes.)
Yes, most men (and plenty of women) believe that inequality between the sexes is a thing of the past Sure, in 1967 men earned 167.5% more than women. . . but didn’t they deserve it? (more…)
