Beyond Babedom

We're (way) over 40. Deal with it.

Not That There’s Anything Wrong With That

I’m not gay. Happy, yes (at the repeal of Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell), but not gay. But I do sometimes think about what separates straights from gays. Besides the obvious sex thing. Because the older I get, the more I think about the feelings I have for some women. Read the rest of this entry »

Scrooged

Remember how you loved Christmas as a kid? The tree, the twinkling lights, the anticipation. It was magic. And, what made it so magic? It was the surprise – you never knew for sure what Santa was going to bring you. Of course, you had your list and maybe you even mailed it to him. But you were never really, really sure. Give the Boys the Boot

It’s the end of the year and everyone seems to be worried about spending – especially the government. Well, I’ve got a solution for our overspending, at least for the military. Turn the Pentagon budget over to women.

Yes; we are the ones who know how to shop, how to find a bargain, how to hunt for the best prices. A $250 hammer? Really? I got a whole set of great screwdrivers from Big Lots for about $10. Just imagine what I could do with $533.8 billion. Read the rest of this entry »
