Believe me, I don’t miss it. Since when did I ever need men I didn’t know catcalling their approval of my physical appearance? When a new tower was being built at the hospital at I worked, the construction workers were forbidden by the contractor to do any whistles, cat calls, etc. It was so refreshing to walk past the construction site, not just me, but younger women and not be harassed.

I do get the occational “hey baby” when I am riding my bike in Sea Bright……they probably can’t tell from the distance that I am an old lady!!!! Funny, I don’t get so annoyed like I did back on 8th Avenue!!!!!!
